GED® Exam Changes

There is good news for GED® test-takers.  The GED Testing Service has lowered the passing score on each GED® subtest to 145 from the previous passing score of 150. The change will take effect in late March and will be applied retroactively to January 2, 2014.  Florida’s State Board of Education approved these changes at their February 18th meeting. Test-takers who scored at least a 145 on the four subject tests will be awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma after the effective date.  Testers will be notified by their email on file with the GED® Testing Service.  Candidates should log in to GED.com and review their profile information.  For GED® preparation classes, call Santa Rosa Adult School at 983-5710 and take advantage of the new passing scores.
