The Dr. O.K. Matthews Tennis Center at the GuyThompsonCommunity Center will be hosting its first open house of the year on April 16. This open house is a free event for those interested in learning to play the sport of tennis, as this event is dedicated to beginning players of all ages.
Rick Cuny, the USTA tennis pro at the GuyThompsonCommunity Center will be on hand to provide tips and instruction for those in attendance.
The open house will be divided into the following age groups for a more personal instruction:
- Ages 10 and under – 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
- Ages 11 to 17 years – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Ages 18 and older – 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The event is free to the public, but register for the open house by calling 983-5466 or by visiting the GuyThompsonCommunity Center.
The GuyThompsonCommunity Center is located at 5629 Byrom St. in Milton.
