SPEAK OUT: March 12

This is Mary, a concerned senior citizen. It seems to me that Donald Trump doesn’t know a president of a country is supposed to be a leader and a servant to the people, not a dictator. His mouth is so full of profanity and he had nasty things to say the other night, not just criticism, just nasty. He seems to think that whatever he says people are supposed to do. He’s missed two of the CPAC meetings because he wanted to do something else. So I wonder, do you want a man like that to be your president?

I just wanted to say that I think the ambulance drivers around this area need to be taught how many car lengths to remain behind a vehicle in front of them for miles per hour instead of tailgating vehicles. This could end up costing them and their company a lot of money if they end up hitting somebody from behind. Thanks, bye.

This is Bobby. It looks like I woke a few people up about driving in the left lane. That’s good. Maybe they’ll think about it. If you ever go to Wal-Mart in Pace you can see what I’m talking about because all the way from Milton to Pace where Wal-Mart is there are twice as many cars in the left lane as they are in the right lane. You think they’re trying to pass but nope, they’re all going to Wal-Mart. You’ll stay behind them until you get in the parking lot. Thank you.

I was very amused with the caller named John that called in and said that the Milton city residents should be able to vote on what the city’s laws consist of and he goes on to say like the traffic cameras that are taking jobs from police. I tell you what. I feel so much safer now when I go west. Many times I’ve been going west at Glover Lane and somebody coming from the west headed east is under the red light and you cannot get out there. I was always worried that somebody was going to run that yellow light which I’m very much opposed to. So the more traffic lights we have the safer we feel. Sometimes laws have to be made. Sometimes they’re not made for making money. They’re made for helping us to survive and get by. As far as what he said as far as allowing the voters, that’s what the city council does and if John has something to say I’m sure the city council would love to have his input at any time or anybody else. If the red lights get the attention of drivers, so be it. If it’s intimidating, let it be that way because I do not find that to be an intimidating situation. I feel much safer and I hope we continue to get red lights.
