LETTER: Central Santa Rosa Republicans to host school board candidates

Dear editor,

On April 7, the Central Santa Rosa Republican Club will be holding its monthly meeting at Grover T’s Restaurant on Highway 90 in Pace. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and is preceded by a no-host meal starting at 5:30 p.m.

This month, the club will host a debate between candidates Clifton Hinote and Joseph Pool for School Board District 2. Preceding the debate, Martin Simmons will explain the Republican convention process and how we can be involved. The meeting concludes at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public, and you are encouraged to visit and enjoy the fellowship of likeminded community members who are working at the grassroots level to ensure good government both locally and at the national level.

The club meets the first Thursday of each month. The food and service are very good, and Grover T’s has a wide variety of items to satisfy the most cultivated tastes.

For more information, or if you have any questions, please call 292-8264 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays.
