NAVARRE — The Panhandle Butterfly House’s 2016 season grand opening is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7 in Navarre Park.
Events include:
●A plant sale with butterfly-friendly plants
●The Butterfly Bazaar with many butterfly items for sale
●Santa Rosa County Master Gardeners will answer horticultural questions
●Holley-Navarre Elks Lodge 2787 will provide lunches for purchase
A variety of native butterflies inhabit the inside and outside gardens. Visitors can observe all of a butterfly’s life stages on nectar and host plants.
The park is located on Highway 98 at the foot of the Navarre Beach Bridge. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, starting May 7.
Prescheduled tours for groups of 10 or more are available Mondays through Wednesdays.
