The foundation invited every Santa Rosa School District campus to nominate one teacher for the award. All full-time teachers in their third year or less of teaching were eligible.
The nominees will be recognized at the 21st Annual Rookie of the Year Reception, 4 p.m. May 11 at B.C. Russell Elementary School. The winner will be announced during the awards presentation.
