MILTON — The Milton Parks and Recreation Department seeks public input on future development and expansion of the Guy Thompson Community Center.
The center — formerly known as the Milton Community Center — houses the Milton Parks and Recreation’s offices, a gym, a fitness room, and three multipurpose rooms. It offers active adult programs and youth programs, and hosts community events throughout the year.
What more could it offer? The public can share their thoughts during a meeting set for 6 p.m. May 17 at the center, 5629 Byrom St., Milton.
“We know the interest in what takes place in Milton is growing as our community grows, and this is the perfect opportunity for the public to have input into the future development of the community center,” John Norton, Milton Director of Parks and Recreation, said.
Contact the center, 983-5466 or e-mail john.norton@ci.milton.fl.us, for more information.
