FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Santa Rosa County’s oldest church, is collecting cans and metal to raise necessary funds  for improvements. The church is located at 5203 Elmira St. in downtown Milton. Contact Betsy Dodson, 983-7803, to help.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN MILTON WILL HONOR RETIRING PASTOR DAVID W. SPENCER on Sunday, May 22. A service is set at 10:30 a.m. with a 5 p.m. celebration featuring hors d’oeuvre’s in the church’s Family Life Center. The church is located at 6797 Caroline St., Milton. Details: 623-3122.

BETHLEHEM PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH will observe Women's Day and Men's Day on Sunday, May 22. Women will be in charge of the 11 a.m. service. Elder Michele A. Williams, of Deliverance Tabernacle Christian Center, is the guest speaker. Men will be in charge of the 3 p.m. service. The Rev. OLIVET BAPTIST CHURCH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 18-22. Prekindergartners through fifth-graders will be “Submerged” with LifeWay’s latest VBS curriculum, which focuses on the life of Christ. Olivet will serve dinner each night for VBS attendees.
