PENSACOLA – State Attorney Bill Eddins announced today that an Escambia County Grand Jury indicted Michael Paul Rodgers for First Degree Murder in the death of James Bradley Gunther.
James Bradley Gunther was found buried on the shoreline of Pensacola NAS on April 15. Gunther was reported missing on April 1 while on an annual boating trip. His body was found anchored and abandoned near Ft. McCree. according to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation was led by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of other State and Federal agencies. Assistant State Attorney Bridgette Jensen is prosecuting the case. For further information, please contact her at 595-4200.
