PENSACOLA — Sacred Heart Health System in June will provide free heart-health and osteoporosis screenings at Pensacola, Cantonment and Pace locations for poor, elderly or uninsured adults.
Heart-health screenings — which measure blood pressure, blood sugar and total cholesterol — can detect anemia and are helpful in diagnosing conditions that put people at high risk for heart attack, stroke, diabetes and other problems. Osteoporosis screenings measure bone density.
