‘Importance of Being Earnest’ auditions extended for Pace production

PACE — The Panhandle Community Theatre is adding an audition day to cast its next production.

“The Importance of Being Earnest,” one of Oscar Wilde’s most complex plays, is the troupe’s next production.

“We are looking for young men and women (four to five each) to bring to life the intrigue, nuance and comedy of romance during the Victorian era in England,” a media release states. “There is an audition (Wednesday, June 1) at 6 p.m. and again on June 2 at 6 p.m.”

Auditions are held at the theatre, 4646 Woodbine Road, Pace.

“Stretch yourselves and come out,” the release states. “You will have a great director who will coach you and help you bring to life your character while allowing  your own unique personality to shine.”
