David West was recently honored for his years of service at Jay High School during the Royals’ recent sports banquet. The former school teacher and coach also served as the ‘voice for the Royals’ for the past 33 years during Friday night home football games, with this past season being his last one. JHS Athletic Director Lance Youngbloodpresented West with a plaque to recognize his commitment.
