JAY — The Jay-Fidelis Rookie League All-Star Team recently won the Alabama District 7 Cal Ripken 8U District Tournament at Tom Byrne Park in Atmore, Ala.
What will the team do next?
They will represent the district June 24-28 at the 2016 Alabama 8U Cal Ripken State Tournament in Athens, Ala.
But first, the league seeks donations to offset costs including travel expenses such as gas, lodging and food. All donated money will be divided equally among players' families and will reduce the financial obligation, according to a media release.
