MILTON — A CEFCO convenience store and an insurance company are coming to two locations under construction on Highway 90, according to Santa Rosa County Development Services.
The CEFCO store will be located at Avalon Blvd and Highway 90. According to Joe Paclebar, communications manager for CEFCO, there are two stores in Niceville and one in Crestview. Another is planned for Fort Walton Beach. He was unable at this time to confirm when the Milton store will be open.
According to a press release from CEFCO, CEFCO operates 228 Convenience stores and 20 quick-service restaurants within Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.
While unable at this time to confirm what the Milton store will offer, the Niceville location offers hot and cold “Fresh Eats” grab-and-go offerings including a self-service frozen yogurt concept.
Near the intersection of Highway 90 and Anna Simpson Road, between Grover T’s BBQ and All About Food is the second business, a new office for State Farm Insurance Agent Eric Cabaniss, coming to that location.
Cabaniss said, “I’m looking at moving my office about a mile and a quarter from my current location. I needed to expand, more square footage, and start from ground level.”
The current location, he said, has been a State Farm agency since 1981. He added the new location will have space to lease out to a complementary business like a certified public accountant or a title office.
