PENSACOLA — A Saturday afternoon traffic accident left a Pensacola man critically injured, but a Gulf Breeze man just had vehicle damage, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Tommy Mitchell, 50, of Gulf Breeze, was driving westbound in the right through lane of U.S. Highway 90 as Brian J. Moulyet, 51, of Pensacola, was headed eastbound in the right through lane of U.S. 90. Mitchell turned left into Moulyet’s path, and Moulyet’s 2009 Yamaha Scooter struck Mitchell’s 2014 Chevy Pickup on the right side, according to an FHP media release.
Both vehicles were moved from their final resting spot before the FHP’s arrival, according to the release.
Moulyet was sent by Life Flight to Sacred Heart Hospital.
Mitchell’s vehicle was damaged but functional; Moulyet’s Scooter was totaled, according to the media release.
Alcohol was not a factor in the case, according to the FHP.
