Navarre Chamber Foundation President Mike Sandler presents a Charitable Distribution check for $1,000 to the Emerald Coast Chapter of Heroes on the Water board representative Aaron Davis. Heroes on the Water, a nonprofit organization, provides a day of kayak fishing to warriors and veterans, according to its website. “Founded in 2007, our unique kayak fishing program allows the participants a chance to decompress from the stresses associated with combat and the physical rigors of rehabilitation,” the site states. “Warriors enjoy these benefits while on guided fishing trips held in local communities around the country.”
