Lawmen seek Santa Rosa traffic accident victim's identity

A person hit twice is dead after an early morning traffic accident in Santa Rosa County.

Tyler Watson Shook, 18, of Jay, was driving westbound on County Road 191, or Willard Norris Road, in a 1991 Ford Bronco.

The pedestrian, who hasn’t been identified, was lying in the roadway due to a previous collision, according to a Florida Highway Patrol media release, which stated the Bronco hit the pedestrian.

All attempts to identify the pedestrian – an approximately 5 foot, 8 inch male — have been unsuccessful.

The accident was no alcohol related, according to the FHP.
