Well, Rob Williamson voted to extend the contract of The Pier for another year at the taxpayers’ expense. Rob Williamson voted to continue to subsidize The Pier with taxpayers’ dollars by continuing to pay for their maintenance, utilities, supplies, trash collection, trash bags and the employee salary for collecting gate receipts.
Coastal Concessions said this would be a record year for income, so when will Coastal Concessions start paying their own way? What other small business in our local area gets subsidized by taxpayers?
If I owned a small business in our area, I would call Rob Williamson and ask for the same treatment as he gives Coastal Concessions.
