East Milton man gets hole in one on wedding day

Ryan Nano and his high school sweetheart, Hannah McMullen, of East Milton, wed at Tanglewood Golf and Country Club just four hours after he golfed a hole in one.

MILTON — An East Milton man recently had plenty of good news in one day: first he had a hole in one at Tanglewood Golf and Country Club, and later he got married.

A hole in one occurs when a golfer hits the ball from the tee directly into the cup. Ryan Nano achieved the honor Aug. 6 on hole 11 with a 9 iron from 134 yards, according to a Tanglewood spokesperson.

Ryan’s dad, Aaron Nano; his brother, Kyle; and Chris Alden were witnesses.

Approximately four hours later, he married his high school sweet heart, Hannah McMullen, at the golf course.
