NAVARRE — The Navarre Chamber Small Business Development Committee, along with the Navarre Chamber Women 2 Women Connecting Group, will host the 2nd Annual Navarre Women's Expo, "Women Inspiring Success Everyday.”
The event — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Navarre Conference Center, 8700 Navarre Parkway — is sponsored by Cherie Rice of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and Sarah M. Hasty of New York Life Insurance Company.
The expo is free and open to the public. The first 200 attendees will receive a complimentary goody bag provided by A Loyal Vision.
The event serves to benefit Navarre Chamber Member businesses owned by women, and organizations that support or provide services to women in the Navarre area.
Throughout the event, there will be interactive booth demonstrations and networking opportunities.
The Navarre Women's Expo Committee hopes that area women will plan to attend the expo for a fun "Girls Day Out.” Attendees will be treated to interactive booths and activities ranging from fashion tips, beauty demonstration and health information, to educational opportunities and a wine tasting.
All attendees will have a chance to win door prizes donated by the expo vendors. Volunteers from the Navarre Chamber's Women 2 Women Connecting Group will sell raffle tickets to raise money for the Air Force Enlisted Village, this year's selected non-profit. And the Women's Expo will feature a business women's clothing drive to help clothe women in need for job interviews.
