MILTON — St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church’s Annual Fall 5K Run/Walk is coming soon.
The event features a 5K run starting 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 6451 Park Ave., Milton. The race winds through adjacent neighborhoods and ends back at the church.
Fees are as follows:
$15 for kindergartners through 12th-graders
$20 for early registration received by Sept. 25
$25 for late and race-day registration
“Lace up your sneakers and come and run, or walk, the course with family, friends or co-workers,” an event spokesperson said. “Each registration includes an awesome shirt, complimentary food and beverages along with awards in all categories.”
Register at Active.com or see www.srolparish.org to print a registration form that can be mailed to or dropped by the church office. Regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursdays and 8:30 a.m. to noon Fridays.
All proceeds from the race will benefit St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and are vested back into the church for capital improvements to the buildings and grounds.
