West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors defeat 3 teams

MILTON — West Florida Baptist Academy hosted East Hill Christian Eagles in Sept. 12 volleyball.

The Conquerors of WFBA won in straight sets 25-8, 25-15 and 25-11. On Thursday, the Aletheia Lions visited and fell 25-10, 25-11 and 25-21, as did the Pensacola Christian Warriors on Friday with 25-7, 25-12 and 25-22.

In JV action, East Hill went three sets, with the Conquerors pulling away 21-25, 25-8 and 15-1. A. Whiting and Maddie Whiting each had 5 kills and added 6 and 3 aces, respectively. Anna Carnley led on the service line with 7 aces and no service errors.

WFBA swept Aletheia 25-8 and 25-7 and started hot versus PCA 25-13. The Warriors rebounded in the second set, gaining points, winning 27-25. They continued the rally in set three for the Warrior victory 15-12.

Laney Fanugao led the Conquerors with five kills. A. Whiting recorded 9 aces.
