MILTON — The 13th Annual Beaches to Woodlands Tour kicks off soon in Santa Rosa County.
This event comprises a series of fall weekend events, sponsored by the Santa Rosa County Tourism Development Organization.
The annual tour celebrates the best of what Santa Rosa County has to offer, from Navarre Beach to the Blackwater River State Forest and everywhere in between.
From corn mazes and pumpkin patches, to races, birdwatching and ghost walks, October is full of family-friendly activities.
The month-long tour features over 40 events including a concert series on the Blackwater, the Riverwalk Market and Navarre Farmer’s Market, as well as an Oktoberfest Beer Tasting and the Navarre Fishing Rodeo.
Other events include farm tours with corn mazes, pumpkin patches and hayrides, as well as tours of the new Coldwater Gardens, fall foliage zipline tours at Adventures Unlimited, and a Sea Turtle Extravaganza.
“Santa Rosa County is a diverse and vibrant part of our gulf coast, and the Beaches to Woodlands Tour is a great opportunity for us to showcase that,” says Julie Morgan, executive director of Santa Rosa County Tourism and Development. “It’s a great way for us to boost the local economy and educate people about the beauty and history of our part of Florida.
“We guarantee that there is something fun for everyone.”
