MILTON — The team of Renee and Ernie Conner posted the high score on Sept. 19 during the Guy Thompson Community Center Bridge Club gathering.
The Conners posted 3,440 in the party bridge-style format. The team of Craig and Cheryl Huffman was second with 3,290, while Ruthie Fortune and Bea Williams finished third with 3,240 points.

The Guy Thompson Community Center Bridge Club meets 1 p.m. every Monday in the Gracey Room with play going until approximately 4:30 p.m.
Play consists of four rounds of six hands with partnerships rotating after each round. If there is an uneven number of partnerships, “sit-outs” will be used so all can play.
This club is open to all skill levels of bridge players, from novice to expert
The Guy Thompson Community Center — 5629 Byrom St. in Milton — also features a class for beginners interested to learn bridge. It’s scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays.
