PACE — Susie Lewis, Santa Rosa Career Connects-program coordinator, was the Pace Rotary Club’s guest speaker on Sept. 22.

“She did a wonderful job of discussing all the wonderful things going on over at Locklin Tech (5330 Berryhill Road in Milton),” a Rotary spokesperson said. “They currently have 349 people taking advantage of these opportunities; 167 are men and women enrolled as post-secondary students; 128 are dual-enrolled with many of the area’s high schools; and the balance (is) registered as secondary.

“Susie said that some 174 students completed their programs, with 90 percent of those receiving certification in at least one discipline, making these individuals immediately employable.”

Pace Rotary meets 7 a.m. Thursdays at Stonebrook Golf Club, 3200 Cobblestone Drive, Pace. Breakfast will be served.
