MILTON — Milton First Assembly of God will celebrate Pastor Appreciation Day 10:30 a.m. Oct. 9. The church will honor Senior Pastor Fred Rogers and his wife Jackie for 47 years of service.
“What a blessing they have been to our community and the families of Santa Rosa County as well as Milton First Assembly of God,” an event spokesperson said. “Please join us … for this exciting service as we honor them for their faithfulness and Godly examples and esteem them in the Lord.
Rogers transitions to Pastor Emeritus Nov. 1, “and we want he and Sister Rogers to go out with so much love and appreciation on this extra special day designated especially for them,” the spokesperson said.
The event’s guest speaker will be former youth pastor Richard Crisco, now lead pastor at Rochester First Assembly of God in Michigan.
