Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year nominees announced

MILTON — Thirty-three nominees are up for consideration as Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year, according to the Santa Rosa Education Foundation.

Nominees are: Marsha Lynn Schiller, Avalon Middle; Jennifer Confusione, Bagdad Elementary; Beth Anne Whitfield, Berryhill Administrative Complex; Stephanie Shaner, Berryhill Elementary; Rachel Gault, Central; Mary Nowling, Chumuckla Elementary; Rachel Orehosky, S.S. Dixon Intermediate; Stacey Price, S.S. Dixon Primary; Kristen White, East Milton Elementary; and Chloe Johnson, Gulf Breeze Elementary.

Also Jessica Barnes, Gulf Breeze High; Karen Gilbreath, Gulf Breeze Middle; Carolyn Sutherland, Hobbs Middle; Deborah Wolfe, Holley-Navarre Intermediate; Jeffrey Strumeyer, Holley-Navarre Middle; Jennifer Raney, Holley-Navarre Primary; Kimberly Patrick, T.R. The Santa Rosa Teacher of the Year will be announced on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017.  Nominees will be recognized at Santa Rosa’s Golden Apple Awards celebrating all Santa Rosa teachers on March 3, 2017, at Skopelos at New World Landing.
