MILTON — Last week, detectives with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit arrested Charles Calvin McMullen on two counts of sexual assault and battery on a victim under 12, and two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim less than 12.
Thursday, a third alleged victim came forward after his mother saw a web post about the Florida Department of Law Enforcement agent's arrest for child molestation on Facebook, according to the arrest report.
The victim used to go to McMullen's house every day and spent the night almost every other weekend, the report said. The statement to the deputy led to an interview at the Santa Rosa Kids' House on Friday.
The victim described "skin to skin contact" in the arrest report and waking up to "feeling something 'wet'," according to the report.
On Friday, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office investigators obtained a signed warrant from a judge ordering the arrest of McMullen on one count of lewd lascivious behavior/molestation on a victim under 12, a first-degree felony. Deputies arrested McMullen Friday during evening hours but he was out on bond at the time of the arrest.
McMullen remains at the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond.
