MILTON — In varsity girls basketball, West Florida Baptist Academy’s Lady Conquerors defeated the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays 52-43.
Holding a 7-point advantage at the half, the Conquerors added 16 third-quarter points and held the Stingrays to 7.
The Stingrays responded with 19 in the fourth quarter, but came up short as the Conquerors added 12.
Leading the Conquerors in scoring was Ayanna Kelker with 20, followed by Allie Whiting, 17; Janelle Riley, 6; Maddie Whiting, 5; Katherine Jernigan, 2; and Alyssa Johnson, 2.
Kelker added seven rebounds, three of which were offensive, and Jernigan added six.
