BATON ROUGE — These Santa Rosa County residents were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society:

- Dylan Densel of Pace, Mississippi State University
- Clarence Fair of Pace, University of West Florida
- Nicole Heineken of Gulf Breeze, University of West Florida
- Haoting Tiedemann of Gulf Breeze, University of West Florida
- Andrew Turner of Milton, University of West Florida
- Tammy Sutton of Pace, University of West Florida
- Ami Ishver of Gulf Breeze, University of West Florida
- Gregory Szuch of Navarre, University of West Florida
- Olivia O'Hern of Pace, University of West Florida
Membership is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors, having at least 72 semester hours, are eligible for membership.
Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staffers and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
