MILTON — Ildi Hosman, with Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida, recently spoke to the Milton Rotary Club about JA programs and the need for volunteers to help with JA-sponsored programs in the Santa Rosa County School system.
JA recruits professionals to go into classrooms to teach its curriculum. The goal is to prepare students for the workforce and teach them how to handle their finances.
Volunteers train and then teach the chosen program in a school one hour per week for five to seven weeks, depending upon the program.
