Believe what Democrats say, not what Democrats did

Dear editor,

There is a common phrase associated with Democrats being "do as I say not as I do."

This brings me to Elizabeth Warren's visit to the immigration retention centers and her comments. Using Pocahontas' own words of "you did not build this" and her explanation of how government did build this regarding our country is oh so true. Trump did not build these facilities but Obama and the Democrat party did—cages and all—for the purpose they are being used.

Wasn't it also the Democrat party that built the Japanese internment camps of WWII and conveniently now blame Republicans? Democrats were not leading from behind Republicans. They were out front. Democrats wash their hands of their own self-proclaimed misdeeds by ignoring the truth of history!
