MILTON — Here are the latest calls we received on Santa Rosa County issues.
PARTY SWITCH POLITICS
This is Mary King. I have never in my 82 years seen anything like we've got going now with the outgoing president and his party. I've seen many presidents come and go, Republican and Democratic, but I've never seen the outgoing party attack the new president coming in. It just beats anything I've ever seen.
This black congressman or woman or whatever, whatever state she's from, they need to check on her to see if she's mature enough to represent the people getting on the airwaves and having a temper tantrum; but she knows that Trump would be for all the people — black, white, red, yellow; it doesn't matter.
The Democrats and Republicans are not having a war against one another. They're both the American people and they're supposed to work together, but I hope and pray that a lot of these problems will soon be settled and I'm thankful to God that he's going to help Israel. That'll be a blessing to the United States.
MEDIA BIAS
This is Bobby Andrews. I just got the Wednesday paper and I see Kent Bush is at it again. All he does is make articles against the Republicans — especially Trump — in favor of the Democrats, and he says through here that the people are the ones that are biased; not the press, not the media.
Well, that's just not true — and it's so plain a blind man can see that.
