MILTON — A Santa Rosa County Jury found Milton man Richard Lewis Houser, 32, guilty of committing lewd or lascivious molestation upon a victim less than 12 years of age, according to State Attorney Bill Eddins.
Houser committed the offense between Jan. 25 and 26, 2017 at his Milton home, Eddins' press release said.
Immediately following the verdict, Judge John F. Simon sentenced Houser to 40 years in state prison to be followed by life time sexual offender probation. Judge Simon also designated Houser as a Sexual Predator.
Detective Joshua Leach of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation. Assistant State Attorney Stephanie G. Pace prosecuted.
