3. TAKE A FREE SEEDLING. Displays, a planting demonstration and seedling giveaway are set 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until seedlings are gone, Jan. 21 at the Milton Garden Club, 5256 Alabama St., Milton. A thousand seedlings made up of 500 dogwood and 500 redbud will be available. The event is hosted by the Florida Forest Service, Milton Garden Club, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Santa Rosa County’s University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension, Master Gardener Association, Santa Rosa Green Up Nursery and Keep Santa Rosa Beautiful.
