Okaloosa County company plans to expand into Santa Rosa County

An Okaloosa County company, known for now as Project MASH, wants to expand into the Santa Rosa County Industrial Complex on two acres and plans to add nine employees at double the average county salar. Special to the Press Gazette

MILTON — An Okaloosa County company wants to expand into Santa Rosa County with a $325,000 investment and plans to hire nine employees with an average annual wage twice the county average, $67,500.

Known as Project MASH, the company is a department of defense manufacturing contractor.

They specialize in building and maintaining radars for the Department of the Navy according to Santa Rosa County Business Development Manager Tina Stewart speaking to the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners Monday.

The commissioners moved to Thursday approving advertisement for the sale of roughly two acres on Opportunity Drive in the Santa Rosa Industrial Park for Project MASH.
