ATMORE, Ala. — PHD Realty has established the 2017 PHD Realty Determination Scholarship.
Two $250 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying seniors who attend a high school in one of the served counties in Northwest Florida or Southwest Alabama.
To be eligible, students must be a graduating senior attending high school in Escambia or Santa Rosa County in Florida or Monroe, Escambia or Baldwin in Alabama.
They must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or technical school for the upcoming academic year and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) and their guidance counselor’s endorsement.
“Our communities are filled with so many hardworking students who have dreams of higher education,” said Patty Helton Davis, broker and owner of PHD Realty. “So it’s truly an honor for this chance to give back and celebrate their efforts to meet those accomplishments.”
Download applications from the PHD Realty website, www.phdrealty.com, and submit them by 5 p.m. April 14. Alternatively, applicants can drop them off or mail them to PHD Realty in care of the Determination Scholarship Committee at 1812 S. Main St. Atmore, AL 36502.
