Dear editor,
Recent front-page news has a local elected official making the sad false claim about Obamacare increasing the national debt to the shocking number of $28 trillion.
Taxpayer dollars will increase as a result.
Support us and we will repeal.
Aren’t you afraid and persuaded.
You should be, the talking points repeater falsely claims.
If any of the new 23 million people covered by health care die due to no coverage, so what. Check out the many charts at the Committee for a Responsible Budget at crfb.org for one of many sources responsible; look into the true cost.
Repealing coverage provisions will cost over $1.550 trillion, and repealing the mandate over $300 billion.
If any local official had attended the recent chamber breakfast meeting, they would have learned from the CEO of a local hospital on the importance of stability in health-care reimbursement that Obamacare brings to care providers.
And remember: If your coverage cost went up, be sure and thank our governor, who was one of a minority who bucked requirements of Obamacare so he could politicize your anger at higher premiums.
Outrage anyone?
