Pace student selected for NYC summer program; donations sought

PACE — Meaghan Griffin, a sophomore at Pace High School, has been accepted into the School of the New York Times summer program.

She will spend two weeks living in New York City, learning new skills to hone in on her passions for theatre, creative writing, film and photography.

The cost for two weeks as a day student is $4,350 with a lab fee of $250. This excludes a two-week hotel stay for her and her mother, food, taxi or subway fare, laundry or any other living expenses.

Meaghan has set up a GoFundMe page for donations. See gofundme.com/big-city-opportunities-flnyc if you want to contribute.
