SAN ANTONIO — U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Dominique M. Dameron and U.S. Air Force Airman Cydnee J. Warner graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
They completed eight weeks' training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Dameron — who earned distinction as an honor graduate — is the son of Jerry Dameron of Santa Rosa Beach and Yvonne Crosby of Navarre, and stepson of Nathan Crosby of Navarre. The airman graduated in 2014 from Navarre High School and earned an associate degree in 2015 from Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
Warner — who graduated in 2014 from Milton High School and earned an associate degree in 2016 from Pensacola State College — is the daughter of Aaron Warner of Milton, granddaughter of Audrey and John Warner of Bryan, Texas, and daughter-in-law of Jordan Buckner of Milton. She is the sister of Haleigh Buckner.
