Navy League, Milton Rotary daddy-daughter dance a success

MILTON — The first annual Navy League, Milton Rotary daddy-daughter dance was held recently at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. There were 110 guests, 12 Sea Cadets and five adult supervisors in attendance.

"There was a banquet of food and the Parish Hall was transformed," Rotary Club President Laura Keith King said. "The dance floor was packed with daddies and their darlings, swirling and twirling, jumping and jiving! Many thanks again to all of our volunteers both at the event, preparing for it, and those who arranged for sponsors or who sponsored themselves."

The event has been added as a major annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club, according to King. All proceeds go to charitable projects and causes.
