MILTON — One Heart Outreach – One Love will host a community-wide egg hunt on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pensacola State College’s Milton Campus, located at 5988 U.S. Highway 90 in Milton.
There will be more than 20,000 eggs for kids to hunt. The event will include a special needs egg hunt area so that kids of all abilities can join. The egg hunts will begin at 11 a.m.
Families will also be able to enjoy activity- and craft-booths, bounce houses, music and free food. Partner organizations will also be at this event with representation from FoodRaising Friends, Inc., Bridges Out of Poverty, Fresh Hope and more.
One Heart Outreach – One Love seeks to bring unity in churches from different denominations, businesses and people of God. Each year during the week leading up to Easter, churches from all over Santa Rosa County get together and go out into the community performing intentional acts of kindness.
Those acts include buying groceries for random people, holding up messages of hope along Highway 90 during the morning and afternoon commute, and giving away food to those in need.
