The Jovenes en Accion Mexican high school exchange students are headed our way. We are one of the handful of cities asked to host this U.S. Department of State youth exchange, and host families are needed.
Are you interested in welcoming a student, age 15 to 17, into your home for 12 days in July and August. The Gulf Coast Citizen Diplomacy Council will keep the students busy during the working hours, and you will get to learn a great deal about our neighbor to the south.
You don't need to have children or teens currently living at home, but you do need to have a warm heart, a safe environment, and plenty of curiosity. The students all speak English and are leaders in their communities.
