Woman cited after three-car crash on I-10

MILTON — A motorist who apparently failed to notice slower traffic on Interstate 10 Thursday night caused a three-car accident that left one car in the woods, authorities said.

Karen J. Semenovich, a 25-year-old Milton woman, was cited for careless driving for her role in the wreck near Avalon Boulevard at 5:20 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

None of the drivers was seriously injured, but the accident left one car 15 feet into the woods and caused another to strike a concrete barrier. Semenovich's vehicle ended up near the wood line.
