Police investigate Milton drive-by shooting

MILTON — The Milton Police Department is currently investigating a drive by shooting which took place Dec. 19 on Hill Street and Ferris Hill Street.

According to a department press release issued the same day, the victim was taken to local hospital and was in stable in condition. Officials believe the shooting was not random and the victim and suspect did know each other.

"When officers arrived, they found a male with a single gunshot wound to the leg," the press release said.

The department is looking for the suspect but is not releasing the names of either the victim or suspect at this time. More information will be released as it arrives.

Anyone with information can contact detective Mistovich with the Milton Police Department at 983-5423. Those that need to remain anonymous can contact Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP and could receive a reward of up to $3,000.
