Santa Rosa Medical Center wreath lighting ceremony
MILTON — At 6 p.m. Nov. 29 the Santa Rosa Medical Center will hold a wreath lighting ceremony featuring pictures with Santa, cookies and drinks, and live holiday music. The medical center will also reveal its new da Vinci XI robot.
Jiu Jitsu Seminar for Hurricane Michael Relief
MILTON —Milton First Assembly of God at 6163 Dogwood Drive will be the site of the Brazilian jiu jitsu "Mega Seminar" benefitting victims of Hurricane Michael. At 9 a.m. Dec. 8, attendees will learn from guest instructors like Danny Ruiz, Daniel Silva, Tony Baker, David Fernandez, Tra Alidor, Anthony Mitchell, Sean Applegate, Chico Mendes, John Hanson, Anthony Benavente, Paul Domenech, Josh Mancuso, Erick Raposo, Jim Whyte and Jeff Cimmings. The $40 minimum donations 100 percent go to families and gyms affected by the hurricane. Organizers will take unwrapped Christmas gifts for children. Contact Tra Alidor at 572-1226 for information.
