PACE — S.S. Dixon Primary School presented their annual Veterans Day Celebration on Nov. 9, at their auditorium. The crowd, estimated at over 100 people was mostly veterans and family members of the students. Most of them were veterans and family members. The students and teacher sang patriotic songs and presented historical facts using characters Lady Liberty, Uncle Sam and Betsy the Bald Eagle.
Members of the audience were treated to cookies and a drink after the presentations and each person attending was given a little gift bag as they left the school.
