Rudolph Hinote, known to friends as “Rudy,” passed peacefully on October 9, 2018 at the age of 90 years. A native of Milton, Florida, Rudy was born on July 7, 1928 to “Bud” and Onnie Hinote. He was the youngest of seven children.
Rudy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years and his children, Elizabeth Roberson (Wally), Becky Snyder (Scott), Randy Hinote (Maxine), Jeff Hinote (Sandy Hogue), and Mark Hinote (Debbie). He will also be fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, his sister Dorothy Bell, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless others who looked to him as a father figure. Rudy was predeceased by his parents “Bud” and Onnie Hinote, sisters, Willie Mae Penton, Maggie McArthur, and Myrtle McArthur and brothers, Leon Hinote and Grady Hinote.
A service in memory of Rudy will be held on October 14 at National Cremation and Burial Society, formerly Donnie Sowell Funeral Home (5641 Highway 90 West) in Milton, Florida.
Visitation will take place from 11:00am to 1:00pm, with the service immediately following in the chapel. All are invited to also attend the graveside service at Crain Cemetery
