Dear editor,
"Bill Clinton was impeached for lying to Congress under oath," so writes Milton’s pseudo-intellectual Steven King (Letter posted Aug. 28, "Congressional and DOJ double standard).
Clinton was impeached largely along party-line vote by The U.S. House of Representatives on two charges, neither one was lying to Congress. Clinton was impeached for (1) lying to a grand jury and (2) obstruction of justice.
