PACE — The day was bright, sunny and perfect for golf. Wayne Forbush did his job again this year by meeting the fundraising goals for the Joppa Project, LEAD Academy's newest campus.
Forbush said they had 102 golfers this year, they sold 94 T-signs and they had a good silent auction. All proceeds go to the new Joppa road campus located just north of Pace.
The 30-acre parcel of land has an administration/class building under construction and will eventually house K-12 grades and the new agri-science department building.
